Is your child or a friends child interested in learning more about the sport of boys lacrosse?
On Sunday January 11th from 6-7 PM we will be offering a clinic to introduce boys to lacrosse. This FREE intro 101 course to the sport of lacrosse we will cover its origin to basic rules, regulations, safety, equipment, and demonstrations.
The clinic is for beginner boys ages 6-15.
Bob Spiegle, a current board member and coach for Plymouth Rock Youth Lacrosse will be running the clinic along with help from various lacrosse coaches. No equipment required (but please bring whatever equipment you have). We will supply as much equipment as possible.
The National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) has announced that the Cascade R model lacrosse helmet no longer complies with NOCSAE standard ND041 and that Cascade's certification of compliance on that helmet model only is invalid. All other Cascade models in the field are certified (CPX-R, Pro7, CPV-R, CPV, CS-R, CS)
We are working with NOCSAE to clarify the concerns and appropriately address. However, our first priority is always our loyal Cascade players.
Players that are not playing until the season arrives are encouraged to retain their helmet. Cascade is confident that we will be able to recertify the helmet and that recertification could be a simple fix.
We expect to communicate all available remedies as soon as possible, once approved by NOCSAE.
To begin the process for your R helmet, please go to R.CascadeLacrosse.com to register your contact and R helmet information so we can communicate next steps over the coming weeks.
If you have any questions you can always phone Customer Service at 800.537.1702.
